Why do Friends of Saltwell Park collect your data and how do we use it

Data you provide when contacting us is collected for the purpose of communicating with yourself via email or social media messaging services such as Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and X, in response to your enquiry or for registering as a member of Friends of Saltwell Park and forwarding your members newsletter if you have chosen to join as a member.

Your membership data will not be shared with any other third party organisations.

What data do we collect

If you joined as a member online, we collect your name and email address.

If you joined as a member offline, we collect your name and home address.

How is your data stored

As a member of Friends of Saltwell Park your data is stored on a password protected computer spreadsheet which is only accessible to membership secretary.

If you have completed a paper membership form, it is transferred to the password protected computer spreadsheet and then the paper copy will be shredded.

If you contact Friends of Saltwell Park directly via email, your email address will be held in our password protected email system. 

If you contact Friends of Saltwell Park directly via social media messaging services, such as Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or X, your details are stored only in the password protected systems of the service provider used and not internally by Friends of Saltwell Park.

How long do Friends of Saltwell Park store your data

Membership data is kept until you cease to be a member of Friends of Saltwell Park.

Emails are moved to deleted folder once your enquiry has been completed, and then deleted from our email system after 90 days.

Social media messages are deleted as soon as your enquiry has been completed.

Access to your data stored

You can request a copy of your data held by Friends of Saltwell Park or ask for it to be deleted at any time by emailing info@friendsofsaltwellpark.co.uk

Friends of Saltwell Park privacy policy does not cover other websites or emails that we may show links to from this website.
