Why do Friends of Saltwell Park collect your personal data and how do we use it

Personal data you provide when contacting us is collected for the purpose of communicating with yourself via email or social media messaging services such as Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and X, in response to your enquiry or for registering as a member of Friends of Saltwell Park and forwarding your members newsletter if you opted-in to receive Friends of Saltwell Park emails and newsletters.

How is your personal data stored

As a member of Friends of Saltwell Park your personal data is stored on a spreadsheet held in password protected online storage, in addition to being held within the Friends of Saltwell Park password protected Mailchimp account that is used for forwarding newsletters and email updates.
If you have applied offline, paper copies of your application form will be manually uploaded to the Friends of Saltwell Park online spreadsheet and the original paper copies shredded.
Your personal data will not be shared or sold to any third party, other than when it is required to solely operate the Friends of Saltwell Park email mailing systems provided by Mailchimp (automated email marketing system), and Exact Hosting (email hosting supplier).
The Friends of Saltwell Park website is supplied and hosted by Wix.

How long do Friends of Saltwell Park store your personal data

Membership personal data will be held for a period of four months after the date each annual membership period ends. If you do not renew your membership, your personal data will be deleted after this time period.
Emails sent to and from Friends of Saltwell Park are moved to a deleted folder as soon as your enquiry has been completed and held for a period of 90 days, after which time your email and email address will be automatically removed from the Friends of Saltwell Park email system.
Social media enquiries are deleted as soon as your enquiry has been completed.

Security of your personal data
